I have been interested in antique cameo jewelry which has been so popular through ancient cultures, & I wanted to create my own unique version of it. Cameo jewelry is usually carved out of shell, coral, stone, lava, or glass, & now I have hand-sculpted recycled paper to create my own, depicting an ancient Bedouin Woman named العنود.
